Trump may pull a rabbit out of the hat. But along the way consider there may be no rabbit and no hat. I was just listening to Scott Bessent droning on how cheap goods is not in the American ethos. That’s certainly the case when your nation is de-industrialized and dependent on foreign goods that are being tariffed/sanction, across the board. And that peacenik, Trump going after Yemen, while threatening Russia with sanctions and Iran with oblivion—does anyone in his posse ask what business of it, is his?
Where, exactly, in the US Constitution is the Executive mandated to militarily threaten nations engaged in oil trade? Or, the bombing of Yemen: what is the rationale for destroying a nation that is not going after your merchant marine ships (you have none), and JD Vance saying we are doing it for Europe. That’s BS—we are doing it for Israel.
