The Big Game is On—For All the Marbles

America is worse-off than its so-called allies. Our debt when considered in relationship to productivity as a nation is a sad joke. Other nations might have a worse debt to GDP ratios, but the extent of our debt/service makes for a more terrifying future prospect. Making the situation worse, a not-so-soft coup has/is being played out in the US. There are calls from university heads to abolish the Constitution as a cause for our ills. Never specific, the calls are generalizations about a need to update old and in the way. Calls, sent-out as trial balloons, toes in the water testing, looking for acquiescence.
