Every year millions of baby chicks are born into the egg industry. These chicks have been selectively bred for one purpose – to lay eggs. But obviously only females can lay eggs…so what happens to all the males? Well, according to the egg industry, male chicks and any other chick deemed unfit for egg production are considered waste products and must be disposed of. This has led to the development of a brutally efficient method for killing these unwanted babies – they are shredded alive in industrial macerators.
I do not apologise for uploading this video. It is to expose the double standards in Australia and USA. While the Western meat exporters condemn other countries in the provision of meats to the consumer markets in the world, they are no better and maybe worse!
This is a health issue and not a moral / religious issue as humanity have been eating meat from all sorts of animals for millennia. No wonder the Australia / US ares such a barbaric country!
