Gianni Russo’s first role in his acting career was as Carlo Rizzi, the drunk and abusive son-in-law, in “The Godfather.” Before then, he was a mob affiliate and an actual mobster according to his own telling. He recently sat down with RocaNews co-founders for an episode of We the 66 to share his own story and give a mafia version of US history, including the death of JFK. He says that Johnny Roselli was the real shooter in the JFK assassination and that the mob turned against him when he refused to invade Cuba as his first move as President.
