A common theme in today’s conversations is ‘shock’ at how easily those around us were herded like sheep into ‘vaccinations’, masks, and lockdowns. Considering human nature, there is little reason for any ‘shock’. In Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn’s “Gulag Archipelago”, few, of millions of Russians charged, failed to sign a total confession. Only to find that after signing, the interrogation began again, because this was a real-life “1984” where it’s not enough to give yourself up. To avoid torture/unsurvivable sentences/ likely death, to cling to hope of release, you must give-up those closest to you.
